I have the mounting plate and the rod. My problem is two fold
1. Is there a socket in the frame to insert the ball on the mounting frame into ?
2. What holds the rod inside the mounting frame?

The head liner is already in so I did not wish to remove all of it to do the job. Can anyone tell me the approximate location to mount the plate and rod. See pictures

Thank you that is what I needed.

I have the mounting plate and rod for my 37 115C , I don't have the visor itself, very hard to find, does anyone know if ford, chevy , dodge or whatever in the late 30s had the same visor?? RL

Talked to my upholstery man - He tell me, we never had the original one's. He cut down some from a 80,s chey's truck. If you want to know more call him at 812-887-0179.
