Chaps,
I bought some alloy step plates for my 745 Phaeton last year but had to settle for plain ones as I couldn't find any in a suitable Packard style. I tried in vain to get some sort of inlay or machining of the plates but last week stumbled across a chap in Belfast Northern Ireland who does a nice little line in reproduction Land Rover badges. He made me 4 name plates, cut on a CNC machine and enamelled on 2mm (!) thick aircraft aluminium. He charged ?105 including overnight delivery and turned them round in 2 days! See the pictures - I simply super glued them in place for a perfect fit. I am very pleased to say the least.
