Would like to know if someone makes or has for sale a pair of hinges that allow the trunk to swing out. This is the trunk that sits on the luggage rack.
Thanks Todd

Are you referring to the option that, with the trunk rack in the lowered position, allowed the trunk to pivot to one side on a hinge to allow access to the trunk?

Illustration is from a U.S. Patent assigned to the Packard Motor Car Company.

Year, model and body style please.

Close, I believe it to be two hinges allowing the trunk to swing toward the rear. 1940 1808 limo

These pieces fabricated by a friend of mine based on some allegedly original factory option pieces loaned to him as patterns. Car is a '37 Super Eight coupe victoria.

Thank you, suppose I could fabricate out of aluminum or a mild steel.
The hole in the bottom piece I would imagine to accommodate a locking bolt.
