Charity Car Show Experience?

An opportunity came up today for our club to do a car show for a respected local charity.

I'd sure appreciate any thoughts on doing this.

There is no question in my mind that the charity is worth it; I'm concerned that we get a payback for our efforts. If ten people work four months on this and the yield is fifty bucks, why bother.

My local car club has been running a car show for over 35 years with (most) proceeds to charities which we select. We draw as many as 450 cars in good weather plus perhaps 76 flea market vendors.

I understand this isn't the same situation you've been presented with, but if you want to chat about it, give me a phone call.

Many many thanks to Dave for a long and very useful telephone call that covered many areas of interest and gave me a lot of useful information!

Thank you so much for taking the extra step.
