Load Pin Questions

These are the pins that came out of my 55 Clipper 5562. Does anybody know why they are different lengths and diameter? The thicker longer one came from the left (driver) side. Thanks guys.

This is covered in tech bulletin 55T-1packardinfo.com/xoops/html/downloads/STB/55T-1.pdf but short answer is different lengths available to adjust side to side ride height due to differences in bars. The larger one does not look like a factory link though.

JT, I see FOUR grooves on one of those, I thought you told me it didn't have ANY grooves???

it doesnt make you go blind bro, it makes your wrist stonger.
The driver side pin has no grooves. Eric you didnt tell me to look on both sides! lol

well i got em out. I will post a pic of the tool i made as well. Thanks for your help. Also im just gonna make these things out of 3/4 inch wooden dowels, it will be fine right? I mean if i wrap em in duct tape as well? J/K
