Hi
That's pretty much how the corporations merged, a thin thread of both Packard and Studebaker still existing today. Recently, Eaton Corporation bought out Cooper Industries. I worked for the Cooper Power Systems division in the 1990's in Olean, N.Y. When a boneheaded management decision came down, I would say it was "the curse of the Studebaker management" which had come with an earlier merger! Steve
