looked at the two magazine Randy mentioned the company is Universal Products Company Inc Dearborn Michigan Detroit universal joints. One add has picture of yellow box and its for aPlymouth 35 - 42 and other cars. Also in fine print says ball and roller bearings the other add and needle bearings no mention of detroit lubricator. The 1951 magazine sytates the are making universal joints for Sergeant Joe Doakes and not neglecting civilian John Doe. The boxes pictured are yellow. would take picas but camera not cooperating at presnt time.

Ah yes, Universal Products. Thanks for the memory-jog. If Turbopacman is correct, they are a reincarnation of the old Detroit Lubricator Co., perhaps he can supply that photo though I have my doubts.

I have my doubts that I'll ever be in deep enough in another Chrysler product to have the opportunity to take said picture. But if I ever do, rest assured that I will.
