The 50 is described as a Std Eight , not a Super Eight. It looks to be be a Eight DeLuxe to me based on trim, so 288 is right

55,
Agree, the 56 Patrician looks to be a factory air car. Strange that it looks like clear glass, but it has the Venetian blinds in the back window.

Hi bkazmer
chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5221589679.html Thanks to Mr. Neal, I can now better identify some of these obscure models, the black '50 in the photos listed as a Standard 8, the 2382 is the 'standard' trim level of the 23rd Series Super Eight. Tell tales are the longer front clip to accommodate the 127" wb, the three, thick upper grille bars and the chrome extension to the side of the taillight housing plus the two vertical bars cast into the taillight lens. There are interior differences too but can't recall those just now. A couple of '41 110's: Sedan, stored 30 years, no photos: newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/5185348018.html A coupe that is in dire need of an appreciative new owner: scranton.craigslist.org/cto/5205039726.html A '53 lwb parts car: peoria.craigslist.org/cto/5217674223.html Steve

Hi BDC:
Not sure what you found unusual about the VN, it's straight forward - a 1936 120 (120B) commercial chassis (A), the 65th(?) such chassis built. Could possibly be a left over 1935 cowl stamping, the theft-proof is right on the cusp between 1935 and 1936 120s, a bit of a blackhole in the known data.

I didn't know that "A" stood for commercial chassis. Learned something today. What's the wheelbase on a commercial chassis? Apparently there were quiet a few build.
