The only home fabricated support block for the tube that would have to be semi-hex would be the very front support block. The other support blocks along the internal supports in the block could be any convenient shaape such as round or square/rectangular. That would make repop easier. Or maybe i viisuaalize the set up wrong.

Hoow many INTERNAL supports are there inside of the block for the tube??? About how thick are the support webs for the tube???
