with my 400, i am going to leave the strips off, or remove the stripes.. they do hold rust... so the 400 would have the look of a caribbean and an exe.

but i also thought of making a tool with wheels for each channel. for on the car use the moldings to keep it straight while rolling it.

Another option for painting the black is to use a paint pen, like a felt-tip marker but with paint instead of ink. Most hardware stores stock them, colors are limited by black is available. I used one to touch up the black rings on my hubcaps - terrific tool for that job.
