Parking lever. Goes down farther than Packard. X is lever with extended arms. To leave off black roller.

Yap..

I see it now. 56 has taper.. 55 is straight..and fits tight.

I had to go out to the shed and look: The 56 has a chamfer at the top so the the sealing ring can slide down in. The 55 has a chamfer on the bottom so it can drop down over the sealing ring.

Packard. 1. Me 0. With headache..

Parts car sitting since 1986.. Pretty crusty.. Should have heads off tomorrow..see what the rest of things look like.

Soaking it for a few years I think helped the bolts. They weren't to hard to loosen. Years ago poured diesel fuel down intake till it filled up. Nothing there now.. Should be in cylinders..with anti freeze.
