Whether those are touring sedans or Limousines, we can agree they are LWB cars and not the 'normal' length.
I bought my 1942 180 Limousine for $2000 and will have $3000 to get it transported, so I am in for $5000, obviously. I think $13,000 is too high, and the market will advise him accordingly. But I am also often wrong. It just takes one passionate person to buy it at + $10,000. I don't see it happening though. The 1941 LWB car is a nice looker too. But unless you are very wealthy with disposable income, these cars will not be getting correctly restored. I expect to drop about $80,000 into my restoration and when done, it might be worth $35,000 and even then there will only be a pool of buyers I can count on one hand. Sad but true. So I am just not sure where these LWB folks get these prices? Price guides are worthless for this reason. There is a fellow on the AACA Packard Buy/Sell that has a 1942 180 Limousine for sale, and I think he is north of $10,000 as well and it's in worse condition then these 2. Lots of parts, which he added up and added to the price of the car.

Hi
This could be one sweet original '36 120B sedan: http://binghamton.craigslist.org/cto/4653739273.html Looking closely at the photos of the windshield, one can see the mesh under the insert showing, general views look to have that covering missing. As dark as the interior is, perhaps the headlining is still in place. Those old Western Auto seat covers might be hiding good original seats if we're lucky. If you like the idea of an original AACA HPOF Class Packard, don't let this one get away. Steve PS: If anyone is interested in this 120, I live about 140 miles from Binghamton, will gladly go and assess its condition for potential purchase. Cost will be reasonable.

The very nice LWB Custom Clipper above highlights the LWB pricing dilemma. Owner states more then $70,000 into the car and is asking $48,500.

Steve
That's a very cool 1936 120B and I think he is close on price. Maybe $4000?

Advertised as a 37 V12. I don't see anything that's close but for sure his spelling check is broken. I guess if you need a good chuckle for today:
http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/4661673951.html Ok, now back to regular Packard broadcasting.

Spokane had a lot of Packards. Question: Is that a 42 or a 46 Clipper and where does it lie in the pecking order, or can you tell? $1000 seems decent if it is a 160 or 180 class car. i.e. 356 engine. I wouldn't mind having another 1942 Packard. I was all excited about the LWB car until I see it was "rodded". yecch
