that knoxville 53 is sweet . with all the records
the hulk for 2500 american dollars> ??? . I agree delusions of grandeur or post mortem.. but like fine art (which is my business) .. it only takes one person to buy at your price. i have been so surprised what goes for big money and what wont go for cheap money.. In the fine art work only God knows... it is mostly the hype and salesmanship. I have seen the same thing in the old car world too. sometimes to make a sale you rise the price to ridiculous heights, makes it seem like its worth that. Then you bargain and they are so happy. happy Holidays you guys!

Hi
CL seems to be rife with delusional sellers! All collector car sales venues are beset with the same condition. But, we look anyway, just to see what interesting cars are available, hopefully for that choice deal. To wit: A '28-29 headlight bar, verify it really is before buying: losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/pts/4767518006.html A '41 defroster/foot-warmer, same before buying: spokane.craigslist.org/pts/4756955271.html Some rundown Clippers, '42 & '47: spokane.craigslist.org/cto/4764117525.html orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/4772136510.html Steve P.S. If you like "hash", here's some cooked-up at Kenosha: medford.craigslist.org/cto/4744298986.html

I know this isn't CL, but look at this 37 super eight hot rod bringing $91k!!! Why would people shell out that kind of $$$ for something like that?

Hi
$91K must be pocket change to somebody, hope he enjoys his old '37 body motivated by a new chassis....but he'll never know what driving a real '37 Packard is like. Now, Back to our program in progress......more Contours... A '51 300 wearing '53 Cavalier trim; lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/4781052570.html A couple '53's, same price, vastly different condition: A Clipper Deluxe two door: phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/4785702030.html A Clipper Special sedan: phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/4803255309.html I'd take the latter! A '51-'52 200 grille insert, chromed and ready to mount: denver.craigslist.org/pts/4776903702.html Steve
