Can anyone tell me how to replace the window glass in the sedan doors. Mine is a 1928 526.

The typical approach is to remove the garnish molding and channels and crank the window up and past the overstop. There should be two relief holes in the guide middle for the regulator buttons. You will be tilting the glass inward to achieve overstop.

My channels are nailed to the wood frame. Are they supposed to be loose and able to be pulled up and out?
