Greetings, all: I have a customer's '31 833 convertible coupe in for some detailing. I know the distributor is wrinkle black (removing the original tag reveals wrinkle finish), but what about the generator, cutout cover, and starter? I've seen cars with wrinkle, gloss and semi black. Which is accurate? Thanks.

Owen-Dyneto generators and starters are crinkle black. Dyneto generator cutout covers are semigloss black though there is some evidence for engine-green, perhaps the difference between OEM and service replacements. I'm fairly certain the starter brush cover should be engine green.

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought.
