overdrive disassembly

I am disassembling the overdrive transmission from my 41 Super 8. I have removed the od housing with the tailshaft. I have removed the bolt and washer that holds the od gear cluster on the transmission output shaft.
My question concerns whether there is anything else to remove before the gear cluster can slide off the output shaft.
Looking at the cross section diagram in the 1935-41 Packard parts list, I think it should come off. Lightly prying gives no movement.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks, Neil

After the bolt in the end of the output shaft is removed the planetary gears should slid off the shaft, I have found that some times the splines get beat up a little from the washer and make it difficult. There is also one snap ring on the shaft you should see it after the sprague clutch is removed. You must not pry the planetary drum as you will bend it. I know literature and manuals has a copy of the transmission manual. I went through 4 of them about a year ago and might need to refresh my old mind.
