Hi all, I am working on this 1941 356 for a customer and have run into the valve tappet oil regulator valves missing. I see in the service bulletin about an updated style, changing from the jiggle pin, to the spring loaded piston style.

Quick searching in here shows that they are not available/reproduced. What is the norm? Put in the freeze plug style plugs like the later engines with the hole drilled in it?

I've attached the service bulletins relating to both topics.
