So I was out doing a parts run for my employer in Portland Wednesday and pulled up next to this Packard parked outside a leaf spring/coil spring vendor. It's a custom which started out as a '41 4 door that was a real basketcase. I didn't talk to the owner, but I heard him telling the guys at the counter this. I loved the look of it from the front.

It was nice to see he could preserve a Packard, even if it was different from when it left the factory. It was tastefully done.

Interesting creation, somewhat appealing. Was the powertrain stock?
