OK. Getting close to starting it. Generator and Starter almost back from rebuild, brake lines done and installed, master and wheel cylinders done and installed, gas tank boiled. Working on fuel line next. But....

When I bought the car, I knew it had a lot of play in the steering. I have all the wheels up doing the brakes, master cylinder, etc. I was able to see where I had play, and it seems I have major play, ~1/2" give or take, at the steering box side. Are these rebuildable? (seems so with springs and such).

Any tips for removal and inspection? (I did a search and wasn't successful)

Thanks!,
Rich

Looks rebuildable according to the Parts List and Max Merritt catalog. Now I just need to know how to get it removed.
