The A model fits junior cars up to 1942 and the B model fits senior cars 1935-1939 with a larger 1 7/8" inlet neck.
I'm not sure which one fits on my 1940 160, but it does. Maybe John considers a 160 a Junior car. See photo on this page julrichpackard.com/fuel_radiator_gas_caps.htm You might measure or call John. Joe

I found the letter (A) stamped on the backside of the cap in the center so does that mean it is for the junior?
