Security Door for Packard Garage

My old security door was drab, boring and uninteresting so I decided to do something about it. A friend of mine welds( actually had it not been for him I'd be driving a flinstone-mobile)so I removed the gate, acquired some steel cut-outs and headed over to his home. There I learned a little bit about welding. I also learned not to touch recently welded steel product without appropriate safety equipment (gloves)!

The cut-outs I obtained were figures of birds. Another passion of mine is bird watching, especially hummingbirds which I've previously banded for scientific purposes. Anyway, my Packard is now fully secured once again, as 'flying jewels' are standing watch like guardians at the threshold.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands and need to start another Packard?

Your bride has a plasma cutter? Next ride in my 400, you sit in the back seat and she sits in the front when we are all in Laughlin again driving to Oatman. A plasma cutter......I need one!

When she asked if she could have one i didnt put up much of a fight. We are lookin forward visiting Tucson when it gets a little cooler, ive been driving the car once a week to work but its been pretty uncomfortable. Heres what ive been goofing off with. The cactus was cut out of a suburban i was getting ready to scrap, we cut out enough leaves to make two of them.I put my extra hood back on the wall.
