power window motor

Not too shy to talk

im looking for a power window motor (passenger side) for my 55 clipper custom 2 door. gave mine to a chap about 6 weeks ago for repair but he.s getting nowhere with it. does anyone know if the motor from another manufacturer will fit or of one for sale. i live in the west coast of scotland and would need to be shipped. thanks jamie

I remember some talk about Jaguar motors working--but that's all I remember. Struck me that you might have a better shat at those, given where you are....
