I would be more concerned about fracturing at the kinks than anything else due to heating and cooling cycles as well as vibration.
Many modern producton vehicles use SS exhaust pipes directly in front of the cat converter. I do not remeber ever seeing any such pipes with RANDOM similar kinks. If u have a modern V 8 with cat converter then take a look at it for comparison.

How thick is the steel in the SS pipes?????? Use a mic and steel ball bearing to measure the thickness of the steel. I' m guessing it very thin material. However i do not know what thickness any MODERN PRODUCTION SS pipes are.

is this a 55 support?,
also is the red oil filter a 55, also,, could it be used for trans filter?, how would it work for full flow,?,,enlarge fittings.. 2 in series . or more.

old pipes on car since 1979,
see hole,, same guy, so i had exhaust leaks.

Only thing I dislike about stainless pipes is the "pinging" noise they make when they cool down.

i am thinking of going with an-steel, off the header. cheaper, the rear is what gets rusted. my toyota will ping, not loud but you can hear it.
