Thank you so much for drawing my attention to it. I'll try and make sure there a no "dead shorts" when I wire it up.

I suppose the most obvious question is what kind of money are we looking at? That said if he is open to ideas for making Packard things, there is probably any number of things we could send his way. One item that pops into my mind would be a redisigned BTV lid that was more like the ones on other makes that wouldn't interfere with that revised return port. No doubt others have many other projects they could advance.

The cast bezel "Starter" is repairable. PM HH56 for his kit.

Very true and it's excellent. I got mine but got sidetracked with a broken down dishwasher among other household projects that have been added to my re-prioritized list. For peace in the house, the DW repair trumps Packard repair every time. If only the directions on the DW repair kit were as easy to understand as Howard's. I hope to get back to the Packard this weekend.

I'm concerned brass might be too soft for the ignition switch bezel - probably no better than the base metal of the OE part.

I always thought that if it were to be recast, stainless might be better, but the devil is still in the details of proper plating and finish - in addition precision orequired for the little lens (for the courtesy light).

Meanwhile, the repair kit that HH56 came up with is the best available alternative.

Promising website. How many places have even heard of Leece-Neville? My '55 Patrician master power window switch is getting tempremental with the DD window & I've gotten as far as cleaning it will allow - He says he does switches. Someone was wondering about power window motor rebuilds. He says he does those.

Thank you for thinking of me but no I didn't. Can you give me more of a clue as what heading, section, etc.? Was it under BigKev's C-whatever search that he cleans of BS auctions? (By the way, thank you for that BigKev)
