This 1937 Super eight has been on CL for a while
losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/3991798643.html so is this 39 coupe: seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/3979595598.html this 39 modified coupe won't sell but the reason is obvious: huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/4004754885.html This 37 coupe just started to pop up in the last few weeks: nesd.craigslist.org/cto/3954069443.html Apparently the guy in St Louis got it sold to Buffalo, but it looks like he's not happy with it either: buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/3950684551.html Needs work but sure a realistic price: 37 touring sedan louisville.craigslist.org/cto/3935847635.html

Another one all butchered up:

I agree with you, BDC. But considering what was done to the rest of the car, the upholstering could be a lot worse.
I am intrigued by the 1937 Super Eight in Los Angeles. That car looks really complete, with the exception of the hood ornament and dual sidemounts. Restored that car would be a knockout! I think his price for a car of this quality and rarity is most reasonable. Wish I had the money to go after it ...

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

That super 8 also needs a roof insert and if its been exposed to the elements than the wood might need some work.

I must disagree with the gold criticism (and somewhere there is a 1985 Ninety Eight missing seats) - it's best that a Chevy not look like a real Packard
