This is my second car I have ever restored(1st 1929 Model A). I am not a mechanic, but grew up working on tractors listening to baseball games(Royals) on a dairy farm.I bought this car in 2012 and did a frame off restoration and have showed it @ 3 car shows. Took 1st in all 3.I put my heart and soul into making sure ever detailed was perfect(radio even works!). Finally found a vacuum antennae with the help of this board, and its the last piece. Poison pill the title( sum of $ if sold pays the trust) so it will never be sold(might be parted out LOL)
Joined the local Packard club(Mid-Am) and am learning so much........Why did I do this? When I as a little lad, a neighbor of ours was a bachelor farmer who lived with his spinster sister. He had old family money, and his dad was the one who prosecuted Frank James of the Jesse James gang. This man(Bill) would pick my brother and I up every so often and drive us in his 49 Packard to get an Ice cream cone... 6 miles to town. Wow, that car was big! And ive never forgot it over the 45 years folks. Ive waited until the last daughter out of 4 was graduated from college(close- get a job- we love you)and pulled the trigger.
I wanted to share some picts-Its history and our obligation to "pass it on"

Good Guy,
Looks like You've done a great job. I've had a couple of 22 & 23rd series Packards, not the easiest to work on, but really well done.

That's a beautiful car you have! I love the woodgraining on the closed cars. Very classy. I also really like how Packard did the back of the front seat in the four doors. It's really got that art deco look.

Hi

Congratulations on a fine restoration! Extremely well done! It's becoming rarer these days to see a sedan of any make restored to such a fine level of quality.

I'm curious about the comment regarding the car's title and the fact that it cannot (or will not) ever be sold. What's the deal with that?

Lovely car, by the way. I'm more than a bit envious.
