That last photo looks like the limit switch bracket is bent.

Also check the brake lights. If the wiring is intact, brake light switch is good (a known failure item), and the TL dash on/off switch is turned to the on position, the light green wire shown in your third photo hanging near the control box will be hot. If those conditions were met and the wire touched the frame, the fuse might have blown. On a 55 that would be the fuse labeled body feed on the fuse block

There is also a fuse that went to the battery side of the starter. This was really fun if you drove your car and the fuse went bad, can still feel the heat. Later in production, or maybe the Packard mechanics routed to the same place as the power windows and seats.

So you have an inline fuse and another fuse in the fuse block to check. But as HH said get it wired up 1st so your not blowing them before you wire it correctly.
