Later exhaust manifolds

The manifold on my car is cracked. I have heard that 1940 and later 6 cylinder manifolds are better (i.e. less prone to cracking). Anyone have experience with that, and/or pictures of the newer manifold installed on a car? I want to see how different it looks. Thanks!

I have a 6 cyl manifold that appears good if you need it. Regards, John

Thanks for the info! John, sorry your part didn't work out, but thanks for the offer. If you are ever in Saratoga, look me up!

So reviving an old post. What are the later hold downs like? I have brass nuts and washers on my car.
When I remove the two outermost studs, should I put some sort of plug in them? Thanks!
