What does everyone feel a fair price would be to pay for a complete torsion motor and gearbox rebuilt and ready to install?

I sold a half-dozen or so of them perhaps 8 or 10 years back; diassembled, cleaned, inspected and packed with new grease, new brushes and bushing and cut the armature. I got $275 each for them. I suspect it would cost more today for one like that. You might also just ask Mike Dulinksi what he currently gets for a used one in "as is" condition.

OD what did you use for grease in the gearbox?

I use CRC's Sta-Lube SL3303, a graphited molybdenum disulfide grease that I believe is a good approximation of the original special grease.

Gonna check with mike and see what he is getting for a running unit. I have found cores from $125-$250 but then have to go through them and replace what doesn't work.

Troy,
I don't know if you're still looking for these, but it's closer to you than me.
