While waiting on delivery on my new lathe, in the interim, I needed a new transmission band adjusting finger pin to replace the one that broke on an Ultramatic we are rebuilding where the pin broke and trashed the Low drum, so I ordered one.

This is exactly why we started Michiana Packard, to sell quality, usable items not sell cannibalized parts for profit.

Bob Aller used to buy grade 8 (I don't remember exactly) bolts and use his lathe to make them.

I thought those band shafts were being repro'd by one of the Ultramatic rebuilders. He mentions them as one of the things to check and under improvements on his website advertises them for $35. Are those no longer available?
