For some reason now I cannot post pictures to the forum using an iPad, tried a couple different ones with new and older operating system updates and no luck. The only way I can get a pic to attach is using a Windows machine. I do not get any error messages, it just does not attach.

The file names of the pictures I'm trying to attach are *.jpg so that should be OK, and in fact I used pics from my email downloaded to both the iPad and Windows computers to be sure it was the same thing. I resize the pics when I email them to myself from my phone so the file sizes are small.

I have put tons of pics on here using my iPad, so I have no idea what has changed that it won't do it now. Any ideas?

Take a look at my recent addition to the Photo Posting FAQ, but to sum it up, it has to be one of the following three things causing the problem:

1) File Size: should be under 1024kb
2) Image Size: 1280 x 1280 or less
3) File Name: Long file names, or names with special chars ~!@#$%^&*()_+'[]=`|{}":?></\, or filenames with more that one period will cause the malware/hacking detection software to block it.

Read that. Pix are same as always, filenames are something like "image.jpg". From the phone it names it "date_number_resized.jpg", which attaches fine from a Windows PC usngChrome. I always resize them to small when I email from my phone. Used to work fine, now it never does. I'm at a loss.

I'm having the same problem with trying to post form my IPad.
I did not have this problem before either.
