The photo of the long black filter is from a 35-39 Standard/Super Eight with a 320 or 384 engine with a full flow filter. It may have been modified to use a disposable filter inside the black can

The car in question is a 1939 Six which uses a partial flow filter, completely different item. I'm assuming the car is equipped as original. Both were Purolator filters from the factory. Replacement filters for the '39 are available from Kanter auto
