Hello,
Does anyone remember seeing a prewar Packard that was at the Gas City,Indiana swap meet several years ago during the Duck Tail Run? it was in the swap meet area along with a 70's Eldorado convertible. It was pretty much a butcher job. I was told someone near Muncie, Indiana bought it. An individual in our Wabash Valley Packard cub would like some info on it. I know this is a long shot, but any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul Harshman

On the General products you can tell those based on the Twelve or Super Eight by the script on the hubcaps.

PS- picture of the General Twelve that was present at the Centennial in 1999.

This Packard I am trying to find was more of a home made mess. All open and more like a roadster / fire chief car. If you saw it you would understand what I am talking about.

Somewhat. It was more a chief type open car. More of an interpretation of what someone thought it should look like. One interesting note is that the car originally had the drivers seat forward of the front passengers seat some.
