My Cormorant is attached by machine screws. Is there enough of the chair legs to thread? Another approach might be to epoxy/JB Weld studs (cut the head off a machine screw) into the chair holds.
You could probably pop rivet to the chair but I don't like to do anything to expand pot metal

I would expect threads in the boy for fine-thread machine screws and tiny lock washers. Maybe check the Owner Registry for someone with your year and PM them the question.

Thank you blue40devil and JoeSantana.
I talked with Jared at Victoria Plating (in Victoria BC) about attaching the chair to the base. There is quite a bit of the chair leg remaining. Either threading the chair legs or attaching studs would work. Jared said that he would solder the studs to the legs. I like the idea. Again, thanks for the responses.
