1939 Super 8 Engine and Transmission Pricing

I have a 1939 Super 8 complete engine and transmission I need to sell. I don't want to part it out but would sell it complete. Your input would be very helpful. The engine has sat for over 30 years.

I was wondering what would be a fair price to ask?

Steve, it is pretty difficult to make any kind of estimate on your engine without more information on condition and things like prior storage environment.

The person you may want to contact is David Flack aka the Flackmaster in Dallas who was instrumental in my (ultimately) successful search for an engine for my '39 1705 a bit over a year ago.

Are you replacing the engine in a 1705?

Good luck.

I understand that the car was in a warehouse for the past 30 years. It is complete down to the original horns. I don't know any more about the engine than that.

Unfortunately, I am replacing the engine. The car is going to be a daily driver and used in a limousine service.

I also need to purchase some dash plastic. Do you know of anyone that has an extra good set for a 1939 senior?

Good Morning...The 'Flackmaster', David Flack is the Gentelman that you need to speak with. After David, then Kantar and Max Merritt would be two more good sources...Ernie in Arizona
