Super engine bored to 4.1/8... Whoever converted 56 patrician to STD trans did it.

That paint was drying fast. Hirsch engine paint . after adding lacquer it went on better.

Is it a 1956 Clipper Super engine? I've been following along but have forgotten the earlier engine discussions.

Yes Don.

Who ever put a STD trans in must of put super motor in.

The guy who owned the car is still around. And would know. The story.

Cal. At custom auto. Knows him. And he said they drove that car all over.

But. Whoever rebuilt engine. Did some odd things.

Like grooving cam . and he machined the bottom of Pistons.

The engine I had in the car. The original block. After blowing 2 Headgaskets and having a knock.

I decided to put this block in. Packard Pistons. And using new rings.

I'll figure out what is wrong with 400
block later.

The car the engine was in. is out at school.. The frame will be used as a demo. For t.l. saving some parts. The rest. Whatever.

Body shop teacher was talking putting the body on a dodge frame. And making a pack up.
