I've got a Packard hood ornament(the bottom part anyway) but I'm not sure what year it is from. I have been looking online and the closest one I have found so far is a 1940 Packard Cormorant(sp?). But the tail end on the '40 appears to be longer.

I would appreciate any help.

The '36 and '37 hood ornament base had a short 'tail', not sure about the base for the Cormorant.
