The New Super Eight Oil Pump

Just can't stay away

The Packard Service Counselor Vol.21, No 2, page 6, refers to an updated oil pump (Part number 387862), casting #387756 for the 18th through 21st series cars. Is anyone using these updated pumps with good results?
