I'm about 95% certain that the Clipper in the photo is a 1942 model. But... even so, it's still probably on a 127" wheelbase.

That there Clipper in them thar photos appears to be a post war grille on a 120" platform.

Ike still won't notice.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Update...got two drums coming from Tucson. Waiting to connect with WA for the wheel offer. Went out and measured my wheelbase...yes, 120". Hope Ike doesn't notice.

I have a couple Packards, my '37 which was restored before I bought it, a needs-lots-of-time-and-money '40 110, and i bought a '47 engine from a clipper for the transplant.

That engine came with 4 spare wheels from the '47. I have no idea if they'll fit the cars....so they may be available. (also have hubcaps for that, too).

Edit: My wife's late uncle worked for Ike at SHAEF as a typist/clerk. He was a replacement for KIA on D-Day, and they pulled him out of the line on 6/8/44 because he could type and he spent the rest of the war working for Eisenhower. Lived down in Dallas; the first visit to his house I saw this enormous frame with SHAEF memorabilia, which is how I learned the story.
