I'm looking for the connectors for the headlight wires on a 1939 120. The one I want joins four wires with bullet ends. I've included a picture of one in the harness and one that has been opened up. Does anyone know of a supplier that has connectors that are a close match to the original? ( the originals are 156 diameter while many of the reproduction one's are .180 diameter) Or does anyone have any originals for sale?

YnZ Yesterdays Parts has the Ford/Lucas style 4 ways but those are for .180 diameter bullets. I don't know if the 39 used connectors that large or if they were using the same .156/.157 diameter as later models used.

If your 39 has .156 diameter, 4 ways seem to be a hard find. YnZ has 3 ways and two ways in that diameter. Amazon also has two ways with a thinner nylon insulation. If you cannot find any new original style .156 4 ways or no one has good used, a possibility would be to take a pair of the Amazon thinner two ways and remove a bit of insulation from a spot in the middle of each to place a wrap or two of bare wire around both connectors shorting them together. Solder the wire to each connector and then cover the entire assembly with black heat shrink to more or less mimic the bakelite covering on the original.

Thanks, Howard. I found out that the Ford 4 ways did not "hold" the Packard bullet ends. I'll look for used one's; however, your suggestion to modify the 2 way connectors is a great idea. Thank you.
