EDIT: PB Blaster did its thing! Got the horns disassembled much easier than anticipated.


I finally found the correct trumpets for my horns. I have a question about how these disassemble.

My thought is that the nut is a lock nut, so it needs to be loosened first. Then, the trumpet should unscrew from the flange. So, three pieces in all…trumpet, flange, and nut. Sound right?

I just want to be sure before I get started. Currently have PB Blaster soaking in.
