1941 Packard 120 Sedan Project - $9500 Missouri

I have decided to let go of my Packard project. I hate to give up, but I only have 2 garage bays and I have to use the space for another car ASAP. I've posted a few threads here on the forum when I first bought it, so feel free to look those up for more info. The engine/trans are currently out and on my hoist. The fenders/grille/radiator/hood are removed and in my basement. Everything is in clean, dry storage. I'm happy to share any info I can with you about the car and take any photos of areas you'd like to see. Just direct message me here and I can give you my #. I'm easy to work with and can do my best to make the transaction as easy as possible.

$9500 is my bottom dollar. Any less than that, I will just roll it outside and put a tarp on it until I can get to it. I'd love to see someone here buy it and give it a proper home.

Below is a copy/paste from my Craiglist ad. A guy is already coming Monday to look at it, so not sure how long it will last.
-----------------------------------------------------------
This is a 1941 Packard straight 8. It has the manual transmission with overdrive. Someone put a lot of money into painting the body and having the chrome redone, but never fully finished the project. The front body parts and drivetrain are currently removed.

I started the engine with starter fluid before pulling it. It ran well and had good oil pressure (I have a video of it). My plan was to hone the cylinders, probably put in new piston rings/gaskets and go from there. The water pump is froze, so that will also need to be replaced. The old 6 volt wiring will also need to be replaced. Brake system will need to be gone through.

The car is pretty complete with only some misc. pieces missing. The radio is missing, some small bezels, interior windshield trim, and misc. chrome pieces here and there. All of these parts can be found on eBay, Packard forums, swap meets, etc.. I will include everything with the car that I received with it.

I'd really like to finish the project, but my garage space is very limited and I need the space for something else. This would be a great project that can easily be on the road in a couple months with some work. Clean Missouri title in my name. Price is firm.

Nice car. The funny thing is without zooming in on the interior pic the wood graining looks a little like rust!

Yea, definitely not rust! The body is pretty clean for 83 years old. Not perfect, but a very good start for a project.
