Next, the flywheel came off. Got lucky and the bolts came right out. A few taps from behind accessing through the starter hole and the flywheel came right off.

I have been documenting the existing 1937 Super-Eights and Twelves since 1967 and am in the final steps of publishing the definitive book on them.
Would you please post pics of the firewall and engine #s?

Also, I may be able to help you with some parts. I used a 1937 Super-Eight to restore my Lebaron A.W. Town Car and have a lot left over.

Wow, that's quite an undertaking. I would be happy to help your project. Will do so when I see the car again tomorrow. Currently, it's the chassis in this thread and two V12 blocks. All model year 1937. My favorite.
