For the PM images to work, you have to have uploaded the image somewhere online first, then use a link to it in the PM where you paste or type in the full http address of the image. That "somewhere" can be here, your own server or a server somewhere else although the latter should be avoided and it's not considered proper Netiquette to remotely load someone else's documents.
