Trunk Pan Repairs

A few trunk pan repairs ahead of my fender & liner repairs. Practicing on the less important repairs. These repairs I can hide with seam sealer! LOL

This is my first hammer formed piece. I like this shaping method! I'm going to use this to create the wheel openings for my fender skirts.

Is the trunk pan supposed to be welded to the fender here under the tail lights?

I'm trying to figure out how the area under the tail light would have been. Does this look about right?

The blue line would be where the top of the pan runs, this part is clear.

The yellow line would be how I "think" the flange would have been, and where it was most likely welded. On the left side the flange is about 3/4" and not welded to the fender, this is correct.

The right side is about 2 1/2" and is welded along the bottom, which is also correct.

The area directly under the tail light and a bit to the right is completely missing. I think this is how it would have gone in order to close everything up, but not 100% sure.

If anyone knows, let me know! TIA
