Thanks Don. I have to say that Joy Twistair still cycles on and off with that blaster wide open running non-stop. My other compressor is a Kellogg-American that is a 10hp reciprocator-----it runs non-stop and gets hot after a while. I just turn off the Kellogg. The Joy, does a lot of CFM, but not a lot of pressure----perhaps 110 psi. The blasting is good around 90 or so. The only time I use the Joy is for blasting. Or, if the Kellogg is down. The Kellogg does 165 psi which is good for normal shop use.
To run less hp for compressor, you would just use a smaller diameter tip. It might take a little longer. Which isn't a big deal when working on our own projects......or trying to beat the rain.

If you aren't tired of my videos yet, here is a little more work on the '40 rear axle and some other pieces. Enjoy!

Some aspects of engine work are done. To move forward with other engine work, the block will need to be on a stand. Here is a video of that process. Enjoy!

The mounting bracket you made is awesome. Seems like it will work very well, and looks like you have it mounted closer to the center of gravity than mine. I kinda wish I would've gotten the gear driven stand to flip the engine over.

Also, watching that machine straighten the edge of the plate was mesmerizing.
