Is there a wiring diagram for the door courtesy lights? And also for the backup light?

Courtesy lights were an option and there were several variations available for the different models. I don't know what was stock on a station sedan but suspect it was fairly basic. The basic front and rear diagram is included with the 22nd series wiring diagram on the second and third pages of the complete diagram and were separate looms not connected with each other. There is a fairly complete diagram in a service counsleor for limos and other special models which you may be able to pick and choose just the lights that are in your car but there is no mention of a station sedan with that one. Otherwise any others would be on a separate miscellaneous drawing which MIGHT still be available as a blueprint. Pgh Ultramatic has been able to find and obtain several of the later miscellaneous wiring diagrams so you might reach out to him and see if he has any info on availability and ordering along with the price for ones for your car.

The basic front circuit consists of 2 switches for the front doors, the two under dash lights, and manual operator control via the map light switch which was in parallel with the door switches.

For rear doors, two door switches, a manual pillar switch for the operator to control the rear light only and the courtesy light. If the tail gate also operated the same rear light then that switch would be in parallel with the other three switches. If it has a separate light then it would just be a light and switch in probably another separate loom.

Postwar car courtesy lights got their power from an AUX breaker on the back of the cluster or a body feed fuse feeding the bulb on one side with another wire from the bulb going to the switches which completed the ground side when switch operated. 22-23 series passenger cars had the wires running overhead above the doors but no idea where they ran them on the station sedan.

For the backup light, here is the factory install sheets. While the switch and wiring would most likely be routed the same in the station sedan no idea if they used the same light assy at the rear.
