Good morning bro I’m in Southern California, I’m not sure about the price.. I’m open to offers, I’m definitely selling for a really good price though. I’m not in the business of selling so I would work with whoever is interested

Cylinder 7 has low compression, it runs fine but I don’t want to put any money into it anymore.. I have a rebuilt running sbc 350 with a trans on standby ready to go..
The Ultramatic also runs fine, I just don’t need it..

Haha No worries 😂
Id be asking all those questions as well lol
I’m being completely honest with everything, I’m just not a purist so that’s why im getting rid of it..
It’s already been converted from 6v to 12v, it has a Chevy starter, and an 80s Toyota starter lol
So It’s easier for me to swap it out than to rebuild or open the thing up. I just have absolutely no interest in repairing it

That's why I was afraid to ask! I get it, but I love these big old straight 8's and love keeping my car as original as possible, so it pains me a bit when an engine is swapped out. Are you sure you want to do this? Maybe all your engine needs is a minor overhaul, rings, valves, etc.

Don, help me out here, but be gentle!

At the end of the day, what's best is for the car to be running and being enjoyed. Keep us updated on your project. Are you going to do AC as well?

I wasn't a purist, until I got my 53 Cavalier! So much of it has survived 72 years that I can't modify anything, even hose clamps have gone back to the original style.

I’m not sure if I will end up installing the ac, ive been driving it without it for a few years now I sort of got used to not having one..
Your Cavalier is gorgeous!
I love seeing an all original car, and a lot of my buddies have all originals but i’m just built a little different lol
I’m definitely going to put up more pictures very soon 👍🏼
