I added the correct seal to the X-ref when I bought them last year.

If there are incorrect seals in the cross reference, please let me know so that I can delete them.

Thanks, I already had someone delete the old one last year.

A lot of stuff happened this weekend. I have my questions in bold.

I am working on getting the engine installed properly. I have the rear engine mount bolted in place, but the front ones are not aligned properly. They are too far forward. I believe it's possible to install the rear mount backwards, and there isn't anything in the manual that suggests the correct way. Has anyone else seen this? Do I need to reverse the rear mount to get stuff aligned?

I am using the Ford radiator and the outlet does not quite align with the transmission cooler. Can this simply be fixed with some universal hose or do I need a formed hose?

I am using a 56 Ultramatic in this car, and I realized that the 56 pan (dipstick tube) interferes with the exhaust on a 55. I will need to swap it to a 55.

I noticed on my starter I don't have the two small terminals, just one. Normally there is one terminal from the ignition switch, and another terminal which powers the ballast resistor. I suppose I will need to connect the ballast resistor bypassing wire to the solenoid-to-motor circuit? I believe the starter is a Delco type but it's apparently off some other engine.

I added accessory gauges into the glovebox. No "hacking" required or other BS as I have seen done on much more expensive cars. Oil pressure (Bourdon), voltmeter, and tachometer (digital, #7 wire). And yes the door still closes. 🙂

Lower hose

Look for a molded one with the off sets like that ,, cut to fit.

Edit.

Gates 22022, don't know if it's 1,3/4.

Edit. It's 1,1/2

A Mustang 2, hose might work. Summit, cel- 60923

Or, use 2 90 degrees with a spacer
