It's likely that the scope electronics will have issues with old electrolytic capacitors. They often deteriorate with age. The cathode ray tube behind the screen requires high voltage to operate, and the high voltage supply source is sensitive to dust and debris accumulation and insulation breakdown. There are a number of antique radio sites online, and those folks may be able to offer advice and perhaps parts sources. There are a few antique TV hobbyists, and they might also be a source of advice. Oscilloscopes used to be in fairly wide use, and there may be sources of support for them.
