Just picked up one of these units at a garage sale. It looks to me mostly complete, although the accessories all need to be re-wired. Plugging it in, it does not appear to be shorted, though I did not try to use the scope.

I have modern tools that can do anything this can, but I'd like to get it fully functional again.

Does anyone have some resources on wiring, electrical specifications of the various gages, etc?

Right now it powers up and the lights will turn on. Internal wiring looks to be intact but I don't try to do anymore until I the manual arrives.

It's likely that the scope electronics will have issues with old electrolytic capacitors. They often deteriorate with age. The cathode ray tube behind the screen requires high voltage to operate, and the high voltage supply source is sensitive to dust and debris accumulation and insulation breakdown. There are a number of antique radio sites online, and those folks may be able to offer advice and perhaps parts sources. There are a few antique TV hobbyists, and they might also be a source of advice. Oscilloscopes used to be in fairly wide use, and there may be sources of support for them.

I don't have a Sun, but a very similar King 514 Dialamatic. Pretty fun to use, especially the scope.
